When Lord Shri Krishna did Uddhar of demon ‘Vatsasura’, all the Gopa Friends of Shri Krishna advised Krishna to purify himself from the sin of killing a cow (Demon Vatsasura was in the form of Cow). Thus, to purify himself, Lord Krishna produced Shri Gangaji at this place. Since then, Shri Gangaji is residing at this place forever. Shri Krishna took bath in Shri Gangaji here and purified himself from the killing of Vatsasura. Since this Gangaji was produced from the mind of (Mann of Lord Shri Krishna), its known as ‘Mansi Ganga’. Shri Mansi Gangaji is surrounded from three sides by ancient artistic monuments. The fourth side of Shri MansiGangaji is covered by Shri Girirajji. Shri Girirajji is also Birajmaan in the center of the Mansi Gangaji. King of Bharatpur has built a magnificent Palace on Mansi Gangaji. Here there are four kundas named as ‘Gorochan’, ‘Dharmarochan’, ‘Paapmochan’ and ‘Rinmochan’. Besides Mansi Ganga, there is huge temple of Shri Girirajji in which darshan of shape of Mukuta of Krishna can be done in this Shri Girirajji Shila. Vraj Yatra 10 Mansi Ganga Shri Chandrasarovar (Parasoli): Jamunavata: Shri Yamunaji was flowing from this place during Saraswat Kalp. From the name of Shri Yamunaji, this village is also known as ‘Jamunavato’. Here, there is the Nikunj of Shri Yamunaji. There is a unique tree known as ‘Domil Vriksha’ at this place. Shrinathji’s Kirtaniya Shri Kumbhandasji stayed in this village. Parasoli: Going further from Jamunavata village comes ‘Parasoli’ also known as ‘Chandrasarovar’. Parasoli Village is the place of “Param Raas Sthali” known as ‘Parasoli’. This is the Adi- Vrindavan where Maharaas Leela was done by Shri Krishna in Saraswat Kalpa. The Present ‘Vrindavan’ located near Mathura is the ‘Vrindavan’ of Sweta-Varaha Kalpa. During the Maharaas Leela, the rays of Purna Chandra fell into this sarovar which is known as ‘Shri Chandrasarovar’. This Sarovar is Octagonal in shape and this was built by Bharatpur Naresh (King of Bharatpur). Near Chandrasarovar, there is a Platform known as ‘Raas Chotaro’ where Raas leela was done.
